We all hope so. Especially when trying to engage with prospects in an endeavour to persuade them that our service (or product) is right for ‘them’.
Many of the businesses we work with really struggle to identify what makes them ‘different’.
It can’t be “great customer service” because every business should offer that. Nor can it be “we’re a family run business” as there are loads of them as well.
What is it that drives prospective customers to your door (or website), rather than your nearest competitor…or taking the easy option of doing nothing at all?
If you really want to know, ask your existing customers. They’ve already bought from you at least once and often it will be for a really surprising reason.
Your business will certainly be servicing ‘needs’ you didn’t even know about.
